Shawn Mitchell, PLS, Shawn grew up in Minot, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine in 2018. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering Technology, and minored in both Construction Engineering Technology and Engineering Entrepreneurialism. He began his career with Plisga & Day as a Survey Technician after graduation, and became a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in 2021. Shawn has spent his time working on a variety of land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, subdivisions, site plans, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, as-built surveys, and various construction layout projects across the state of Maine. He enjoys seeing a project through, starting with the research/field preparation, to locating/finding evidence in the field, and preparing a final plan for his clients. Outside of surveying, Shawn enjoys hiking, snowmobiling, disc golfing, and spending time with his family, cat, and puppy. He likes to travel to new places, though also enjoys regular visits to Disney with his wife Sarah.
